Photo in A Jar

I have had this pinned forever from Pinterest and finally got around to doing one for myself today. I just embellished a little.
When the 2 grandangels were here I took them to have their pictures made and I just picked them up today. The wallet size was perfect for this jar.

All you need is a clean mason jar filled with Olive Oil. Add your photo of choice and embellish however you choose. I painted the lid black and had these hearts on wire deco left over from another project. I just hot glued a short strand around the jar. I love how it turned out although I need to add a little more olive oil (I ran out!) and plan to make some for Christmas gifts this year.

  18. I was wondering if this would really look as good as it does on Pinterest. You will have to let us all know how it holds up - I'm wondering if the oil will make the picture run or fade eventually.
